Membership - What happens next?

Your current membership direct debit will be adjusted from 1st March to your new monthly amount ( see price list ).  You don’t need to do anything if you are happy to transfer to the new membership from 1st March 2022.

If you qualify for a discounted category, again we will apply it from month one, or if you don’t wish to continue with your membership at this time, please let us know by emailing us at playtennis@btconnect.com

Indoor Courts and Adult Programme Classes from 1st March onwards, will be bookable online from 14th February.  Please see below how this will work:-

Booking Indoor Courts

Members can book both indoor & outdoor courts 14 days in advance through ClubSpark (as before ) and will pay the indoor court fee through Stripe at the time of booking.  The Stripe system can safely store your payment details for you so the booking process will be quicker each time. The system will take the full amount for the court booked.
 
Outdoor courts are also bookable through ClubSpark and are included in your membership.

If you need to cancel an Indoor court booking, this can be done through your ClubSpark account and if more than 24 hours notice is given before the booking, a full refund will be given. Booking cancelled with less than 24 hours regrettably aren’t eligible for a refund.

Club Programme Classes.

For the first couple of months, The Club Programme bookings will revert back to being bookable through Clubspark, while Rudi makes adjustments and additions to The Club’s own booking portal, which will eventually be migrated to a single system designed by Rudi and members will be able to manage their Court Bookings, Coaching Classes and Membership through one fantastic system. Such a system is complex and takes time to build and will involve deactivating the Class Booking System temporarily. 

 

While this work is being completed, all bookings will be taken via ClubSpark and using your ClubSpark Log In. ( as you currently use for your Court Bookings )

Club Programme bookings for classes taking place up to and including Monday 28th February will be made on the Club’s (Rudi’s) Booking Portal and bookings for Classes from Tuesday 1st March will be bookable through ClubSpark and open to book from Tuesday 15th February. 


The Club Coaching Classes will be charged at £6.00 per hour and exactly like the indoor courts, members will pay online at the point of booking through Stripe. Classes can be booked 14 days in advance at the time the class two weeks previously has been completed.

 

As an example, the minute the class on 1st May  9am - 10am has finished, bookings will open at 10am for the same 9am - 10am class on 15th May ( same class 2 weeks later ) 

 

While booking online is by far the quickest and most efficient way of booking classes ( giving members the maximum opportunity to book on classes ) we will of course allow members to book through reception either over the phone or in person, but obviously this takes longer.   

If you need to cancel a Coaching Class booking, a full refund will be given if the cancellation is more that 24 hours in advance, but thereafter bookings aren’t refundable for on the day cancellations. 

We hope to be back to Rudi’s system as soon as possible, for the Management of all your bookings and membership needs and of course, we will let you know when this is possible.

Social Tennis

Both the Tuesday Evening 7.30 - 9pm & Sunday 11-1pm Social Tennis are included in your membership for no extra cost. ( indoors and outdoors )
