Sport England and SCC Grant Awards - June 2020
We are pleased to inform members that June has been a much more successful month in Grant applications for The Tennis Club.
After all our applications in March, April and May that were all either rejected or we were found to be ineligible for, in early June we got the great news that both Sport England and Sheffield City Council awarded The Club grants.
Sport England awarded The Club a grant from their Community Emergency Fund towards our fix costs and utilities that we have had to continue to pay while closed and the Sheffield City Council award was through the Discretionary Grant, which is aimed at businesses that fell through the cracks in applying for the Business support grants, which was based on Business Rates.
We would like to thank both Sport England and SCC for their help and support which will help The Club in what has been the most difficult period of time in our recent history.
