Covid 19 Update - Local Council Lockdown Restrictions from 31st December 2020 - Tier 3 Extended
As you will be aware Sheffield will remain into Tier 3 ( Very High ) under the Local Council Lockdown Restrictions, from Thursday December 31st December 2020.
When we moved to Tier 3 on December 2nd, it seemed very harsh and unfair, but as we watch 75% of the Country now moving to Tier 4, which bans all indoor sport and members could only play singles outside, we look at Tier 3 as a reward for all the City's efforts and we'd have never thought that a month ago !
As I’m sure you are all fed up of endless Covid updates, I’ll try and keep this update to a factual set of what’s allowed and not allowed in relation to playing tennis under Tier 3, which is obviously exactly the same as the last months restrictions, but just for clarity, please see the list below.
With the roll out of the new vaccines, we all hope that during the first quarter of 2021 will see numbers drop and life begin to return to normal.
Finally a huge thank you to all our members for their immense support and encouragement over the last year and it just serves to remind us what a great "Abbeydale Family" we have here.
