Covid - 19 Government Update of 20/10/20 - Abbeydale Tennis Club
Further to The Prime Ministers Statement this afternoon in The House of Commons and Sheffield City Council announcing that Sheffield will be in the HIGH Risk - Tier 2 category, The Club is seeking further clarification from both The Lawn Tennis Association as to what if any new measures The Club may have to take.
The wording of not allowing people of different households in indoor settings to mix is of some concern as it may involve The Clubhouse and possibly Indoor Tennis, BUT this may not be the case, as often Sporting facilities have been exempt
We will push for urgent clarification and when we have that, we will update members as soon as we can.
